Muckdogs 17U Summer Team
2025 17U Summer Season Outlook
In the summer of 2025, the Muckdogs 17U summer team will play a 40-game schedule between mid-May to late July. It will be the team’s eighth season. Many of our the top ’26 and ’27 grads will make up the team’s roster.
Cade Monardo, former college baseball player, will manage the club this summer. Brandon Bernier, current college baseball player and former Muckdogs player, will be the assistant coach. The team will be comprised of players from throughout the greater Northern Nevada area. Golden Eagle Regional Park will be the team’s home field. The team will be overseen by Muckdogs General Manager Bret Pagni.
The 17U team will swing wood bats and play in mainly wood bat games. The team will play in five tournaments over the summer, the Muckdogs Pre-4th of July Tournament, the Casey Yocom Invitational, the Northern Nevada Summer Series, the NCS World Series and the Muckdogs Summer Invitational. Outstanding programs such as EJ’s Sports Warriors, USA Prime Sacramento, Athletic Edge and Old Skool Baseball are all on this year’s schedule.
Our goal with this team is to get our players exposure to college coaches and professional scouts, while having them play a truly competitive schedule that will make them better over the summer. We will also spend the entire summer teaching our players, coaching them constantly, in an effort to get them to learn the game at the highest level possible. Our club will play hard always, show the game the love and respect it deserves, while respecting all of our opponents.
